under the banner of Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, director Dominic Arun is helming Loka: Chapter One – Chandra, a film set against a backdrop never before seen in Malayalam cinema.
The movie stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen, Chandu Salim Kumar, Arun Kurian, and Shanti Balachandran in prominent roles.
This film holds two major distinctions: it is the first installment in Dulquer’s Wayfarer Cinematic Universe and is also being touted as the first female superhero film in Malayalam cinema.
Director Dominic Arun is known for directing Tharangam, which starred Tovino Thomas and Balu Varghese in lead roles. He has also proven his excellence in various domains such as film and short film direction and writing.
