Pani and Rifle Club have been released on OTT some time ago.. Both these movies performed well in theaters.. This being the fact, many have come out to degrade these movies on OTT…!
When the Tamil movie Madrasskaran starring Shane Nigam, a malayalam actor originally, was released, it was being degraded on social media very badly and this is because of the actor’s religion and some remarks he had made earlier in his career about another actor…!
Seriously…?
Here in Bangalore, normally Tamil movies are not getting many theaters these days..so many couldn’t even watch it in theatres. And when it comes to OTT… Heavy degrading based on personal life of actors..!
In the movie Marco, a malayalam blockbuster, the villains who enter the heros’s house and attack and kill everyone there brutally including ladies and kids …except our hero…!
That’s heavy stuff…swag… amazing … !!
But in another Movie Pani, which is again a malayalam blockbuster, the villains attacked and raped bruttaly the hero’s wife, killed brother-in-law, injured friends, and mother..!
And that was just bad scripting…wah wah wah !!!
Everyone has their own favorite actors…we can watch their Movies if we want to and see it perform well in theaters .. its our choice…! Why should we somehow make a fuss and then degrade.. I don’t understand.. !
Does cinema become a field where everyone is insecure …???
Why is the personal life of an actor mixed up with their movies …?
Why would anyone try to attack or degrade any Movies based on the actors ..crew members caste or religion…?
There is a case against malayalam actor Dileep (who once upon a time actually ruled the malayalam industries family audiences ) …. Let the court inform the people about its truth in due time … Dileep’s first movie Ramaleela that came out after that case has been filed and then Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakil that came out after Ramleela .. Both these movies were good and super hit movies … Both of them performed well in the theaters. During these period, Dileep acted many movies however most of them was a disaster and didn’t performed at all was never because of any personal anger of cine lovers towards actor Dileep … but because None of those movies were good in terms of content.
The point is , Why degrade a movie in which an actor acted, based on their personal life or his Name .. Or for that matter anything….?
A movie is not just the work of an actor alone. Thousands of individuals, technicians …their families, children, their efforts and dreams of a group of people… when will we be able to see the larger picture…??
I’m aware that , the Malayalis are to be a group that was determined and willing to say good things as good..and Bad as Bad… But recently, it seems that, we are degenerating into a group that is eager to find many differences such as caste, religion, color and politics, and has grown into a group that has no tolerance at all.
I am not saying this for everyone in general.. I am expressing a pain deep inside. I want to say this to those who see things through such differences… I want to ask them…just one thing !!
