Re-releases are becoming a huge trent in Malayalam cinema right now. Starting with Lalettan’s Sphadikam a few years ago, re-releases have gained a lot of popularity. From there, Mammookka’s Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, Valyaettan, Lalettan’s Manichithrathazhu, Devadoothan, Devasuran, Aaram Thampuran, and Prithviraj’s Anvar are few among those re released movies.
Films which our favorite stars acted , characters who gained a permanent place in the hearts of people without any of today’s technologies, perhaps many of them are not even alive today, it is a great joy and even more satisfying to see the characters they played , to see them again in the big screen through these re releases.

Kalabhavan Mani’s Natesan is probably the most cruel villain character among the cruel villains seen in Malayalam cinema! When Chotta Mumbai is re-released, Malayalis will get the opportunity to see Rajan P. Dev, an extraordinary artist who has captured the hearts of the people through his villainous roles, once again on the mega screen as a full-length comedy character named Pampu. The character played by Cochin Haneefa, who, although came in a very small role, changes the lives of the hero and his friends in a very funny way , Santosh Jogi’s goon role, Saranya’s sister role, and Kochu Premam Chettan’s bank manager role are all integral parts of the movie Chotta Mumbai. Having get to see them again in big screen is always a pleasant happening.
